Frequently Asked Questions

  • Vendors are responsible for bringing everything needed to operate their booth, including tents, tent weights, tables, chairs, displays, lighting, extension cords, and any other equipment required for setup and sales. Intown Concord provides only the physical booth space.

  • No. Intown Concord and the City of Concord do not provide electricity to vendors.

    If your booth requires power, please notify Intown Concord prior to the festival so we can place you appropriately on the vendor layout.

    Generators are permitted only with prior approval and must comply with all vendor guidelines. Generator noise may not exceed 65 decibels.

  • Yes. If you have a preferred location, please note it under "Special Requests" on your vendor application.

    While we do our best to accommodate requests, placement preferences cannot be guaranteed.

  • Preliminary vendor layouts and booth assignments are typically released on or before Memorial Day weekend.

    Please watch your email carefully for updates and important festival communications.

  • No. Once vendor locations have been finalized and setup begins, booths may not be relocated.

    If you have concerns about your assigned location, please contact the Intown Concord office as soon as possible after receiving your assignment.

  • No. All displays, merchandise, tables, and equipment must remain within the dimensions of your purchased booth space.

    For safety reasons and City regulations, vendors may not extend beyond their assigned footprint. Vendors requiring additional space should purchase additional frontage.

  • Yes. Vendors are expected to operate throughout the entire festival, Thursday through Saturday.

    Festival hours are 10:00 AM–10:00 PM daily. Vendors may choose to close at 8:00 PM each evening but may not bring vehicles onto Main Street until after 10:00 PM.

  • Possibly. Shared booth arrangements must be approved by Intown Concord in advance.

    One designated point of contact must be identified for all communications and administrative matters.

  • Yes. Market Days is a rain-or-shine event.

    In the event of severe weather, Intown Concord may adjust schedules or operations for safety reasons. Vendors will be notified via email and emergency text alerts if necessary.

  • Vehicles are not permitted on Main Street until after 10:00 PM.

    If you choose to close your booth at 8:00 PM, you will need to carry merchandise and equipment to your vehicle until road access reopens.

  • Yes. Free vendor parking is available at several locations throughout the festival. There will be a shuttle from NHTI to the festival all three days from 10 am – 8 pm.

    Please do not park in unauthorized private lots, including Market Basket Plaza and the Concord Food Co-op lot.

  • Yes. The Concord Police Department patrols the festival area 24 hours a day throughout the event.

    While booths and displays are generally safe to leave overnight, vendors should remove cash, electronics, valuables, and other high-value items.

    Market Days typically attract approximately 10,000 visitors per day.

  • Vendor check-in takes place on Thursday morning before the festival opens.

    Arrival times are staggered to reduce congestion, with food vendors arriving first.

    Complete arrival instructions, maps, parking information, and setup procedures are emailed out before the event.

  • Yes. Vendor dumpsters and recycling containers are located within the festival area.

    Vendors are responsible for disposing of all trash, cardboard, and recycling in the designated containers. Festival trash cans are reserved for attendees.

  • Yes.

    The City of Concord has a zero-tolerance policy regarding grease left on streets and sidewalks. Vendors may be charged for any required post-event cleaning.

    Food vendors should use mats, trays, or other containment methods and are encouraged to photograph their space before setup

  • Some vendors are required to obtain permits through the City of Concord.

    This may include:

    • Peddler's Licenses for retail vendors

    • Temporary Food Licenses for food vendors

    • Charitable Solicitation or Raffle Permits for nonprofits

    Permit requirements and application instructions will be included in vendor communications.
