Andrea’s music has captured the attention of critics, with Nathalie Levey of Northeast Performer Magazine praising her voice as “rich, cozy humility” that “tugs at the heartstrings of her listeners.” She has shared stages with acclaimed artists like Melissa Ferrick, Howie Day, and Blessed Union of Souls and performed at prestigious events, including Pride festivals across the U.S. and the Raise the Roof Women’s Music Festival in Ontario, Canada.

Her songwriting talents have also been recognized in competitions. Andrea was a finalist in the 2011 CT Folk Festival Songwriting Competition, as well as in Country 92.5's Locals Live, which earned her a performance spot at Mohegan Sun’s renowned Wolf Den. In 2013, she was named RAW Music Artist of the Year for Connecticut. Andrea works with several booking agents throughout the Northeast, reflecting her growing demand as an artist. Many venues she performs at frequently request her return, a testament to the connection she forges with her audiences and the memorable experiences she creates.

Andrea was invited to perform at The Stargaze Festival in Massachusetts for 2 years in a row. Radha Hilery, festival reporter says “Andrea is more than just a singer-songwriter — she’s a storyteller with soul. With a voice that can both stir your spirit and soothe your heart, Andrea’s music is raw, real, and deeply human. Her lyrics explore love, life, loss, and liberation with a rare honesty that invites us all to feel a little more deeply and connect a little more authentically. We are so honored to have Andrea back in the woods with us. Her presence last year was unforgettable, and if you were there, you know just how magical it was. If this is your first time catching her live — get ready to fall in love.”

Since the fall of 2023, LEE & DR. G have played 100+ shows across New England, building what The Hippo called “psycho-delic” blues rock: Delta-rooted blues pushed somewhere louder, heavier, and less predictable. Long grooves collide with fuzz, tube saturation, and improvisation that refuses to sit still. Paperjam called it “rock-and-roll dynamite.”

Live is the point. Their shows build tension, pushing grooves further and further until the whole room feels pulled into it.

In 2025, the band self-funded their debut album, "Girl For Me," recorded at Rocking Horse Studios and pressed on red vinyl. The Hippo praised its “massive sound” and “fearless guitar work.” The release led to a release show at BNH Stage and a nomination for “Rising Star – New Hampshire” at the New England Music Awards.

The band is currently developing an immersive live production exploring the history and afterlives of the Delta Blues.

2026 marks The Freese Brothers Big Band’s 45th year of keeping swing and classic Big Band music alive, entertaining audiences throughout the region, and raising scholarship funds for the next generation of talented New Hampshire musicians.

Jack, Bill, George and Courtland Freese began playing music in a family troupe in the 1930s, and they formed the Big Band that bears their name in 1982, Since then, the band has performed on scenic bandstands from Wolfeboro to New Boston; in elegant theaters in Concord, Claremont, Rochester and Manchester; and even at New Hampshire’s grand White Mountain hotels. Their musical enthusiasm and community spirit lives on, and remains the band’s driving force to this day.

Members volunteer their time and talent in support of the “Freese Brothers Big Band Memorial Scholarship Fund.” As a registered 501-C3 non-profit charitable organization, all proceeds from our performance fees are used to help talented music students from New Hampshire improve their music skills by sending them to summer music programs. To date, the fund has awarded over $125,000 in scholarships to deserving, young musicians from all over the state.

Volunteer NH recognized the band’s contributions to the state and the next generation of musicians with the 2021 Volunteer Champion Award, citing the band for “exemplary contributions to volunteerism and to the betterment of life in New Hampshire.”

Based in Concord, the 20-member band offers a lively program that incorporates the classic sounds of Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, Count Basie, Frank Sinatra, the Dorsey Brothers, Ella Fitzgerald, and Glenn Miller along with contemporary tunes specially arranged for Big Band performances.
