  • kid-friendly martial arts obstacle course

  • Learn more about New Hampshire and the American Revolution at Market Days with the New Hampshire Historical Society! Stop by our table to play games and make crafts just like kids did 250 years ago. Families can also do a mini version of the 603 History Hunt, launching statewide in July.

  • Children’s interactive musical performance

  • Join the library for a children’s storytime, and come meet Abbot and Downing, the library's eBike Bookmobiles. Meet friendly staff members, sign up for a library card, borrow books, and learn more about the library’s upcoming programs and educational activities!

  • Join Planet Fitness for a frsibee golf challenge using a few different targets marked with cones. There will be small prizes such as keychains, wristbands, water bottles, and more.

    • "Living Free to Be Me," an interactive art activity presented by Art Around Town that celebrates our individual expression

    • Art Around Town Imagination Station with oil pastels, colored pencils, markers, crayon, and plenty of paper! To learn more about Art Around Town, click here

  • Come make a toy for a shelter pet, where participants can create simple enrichment items for
    animals in our care. We will also have adoptable pets for a cuddly meet-and-greet.

  • Join the head football coach(es) with a few student-athletes, engaging with families. Throw college footballs and provide softer ones for young kids to toss and catch with. There will be a giveaway and learn more about the 2026 UNH Football season, promoting our youth day game as well as Family Weekend.

  • Welcome to all ages, Zumba is a popular, dance-based aerobic fitness program that combines high-energy cardio with Latin and world music rhythms.

  • Join Miss.Heather with the Concord Community Music School for a music and movement class for kids

  • Kid-friendly martial arts obstacle course

    • Paint a Rock with Art Around Town - keep your painted rock (rocks and acrylic paint markers provided!), or add your rock to our Art Around Town rock garden in West Street Play Lot! 

    • Art Around Town Imagination Station with oil pastels, colored pencils, markers, crayon, and plenty of paper! To learn more about Art Around Town, click here.  

  • Join Matt Ailing with the Concord Community Music School for a drum circle.

  • Come experience a live reading on the City Plaza of the iconic speech honoring Fredrick Douglass and his work, presented by The Black Heritage Trail New Hampshire and the Concord Historical Society.

  • Join Audrey Budington with the Concord Community Music School for a Folk Jam!

  • Rockstar Fitness will host a ‘Kids Fit Games’ for 8-12 year olds

  • Two activities - “Planet Cans,” which showcases how a can of soda would weigh different amounts if it was on other planets, and “Stomp Rockets,” where people could come up and potentially make their own rocket!

  • There will be opportunities to craft with coloring sheets, henna, temporary tattoos, a group art piece, etc.
